Prev Next Erin's story Mechanical Engineering '24 Erin applied her mechanical engineering skills to the development of light autonomous underwater vehicles (LAUV) in the beautiful coastal town of Matosinhos, Portugal. Bella's story Chemical-Biological Engineering '26 Bella Aparicio interned at Vinos y Licores, using her skills in biochemistry and engineering to develop new non-alcoholic fermented beverages. Lorenzo's story Chemical Engineering & Nuclear Science '27 Lorenzo interned in Madrid, Spain at CIEMAT, the Centre for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research, and worked on the Optimization of Liquid Metal Advanced Targets (OLMAT) team writing scripts in MATLAB to analyze different types of data sets and helping set up experiments in a low-pressure chamber. Yijun's story Chemical Engineering '24 Yijun Yang spent her summer with TotalEnergies; loves learning about other languages, and being in an international lab has impacted her to apply for workplaces with an opportunity to travel or be in an international team. Ian's story Mechanical Engineering '25 An internship at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), working on biomechanics for prosthetics, has led Ian Rosado, a mechanical engineering major, to explore further and pursue a career in biomedical research.
