From grants and research funding to fellowships and international internships — CIS offers a range of opportunities for global engagement and impact.
For Students
Through MISTI, MIT students can immerse themselves in global experiential internships, research, and teaching opportunities. PhD students with international research projects are encouraged to apply for a CIS grant.
MIT faculty collaborate with international researchers through CIS’s Global Seed Funds and they can apply for Policy Lab Grants to support faculty working on policy-relevant research.
CIS fellowships provide funding, academic and professional development, and research opportunities to visiting faculty, fellows, doctoral students, and postdoctoral researchers from around the world.
