A new initiative honoring Philip Khoury’s four decades of scholarly and institutional leadership at MIT. The Roundtable on September 16 - 17 will foster rigorous, open, and humane engagement with the histories and contemporary realities of the Middle East, bringing together scholars, students, alumni, and the wider community through a public lecture, reception, community conversation, and scholarly workshop each semester. MIT History organizes the Roundtable, with support from the Center for International Studies and MIT-MENA.
