Joanne Lin

Joanne is currently the senior fellow and coordinator at the ASEAN Studies Center at the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. She has over 20 years of work experience in the Singapore public sector, regional and international organizations, think tanks, and NGOs. She previously served at the ASEAN secretariat from 2015 to 2021 and was the head of the external relations division under the ASEAN political-security community department. At ISEAS, she is an author of the Institute’s flagship State of Southeast Asia survey and regularly publishes on ASEAN affairs. She is also a commentator for various regional and international news outlets.
