Starr Forum: National Security and Civil Liberties

US Congressmen Mike Honda (D-CA), whose family was interned during WWII at a camp for Japanese-Americans, will speak on National Security & Civil Liberties. His talk will be followed by a roundtable discussion featuring Congressman Barney Frank of the 4th District of MA, as well as MIT Political Science Professor Kenneth Oye, Merrie Najimi of the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee, and Margie Yamamoto of the New England Japanese American Citizens League, the co-sponsor of this event. Topics will include the USA Patriot Act. A reception will follow the event. All are welcome.
