Starr Forum: Haiti: Moving Forward After Failed Transitions

Myrtho Bonhomme, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Haiti and Special Ambassador, Dean and Founder of the National Diplomatic Academy of Haiti, will discuss the current political situation in Haiti. MIT Political Science Associate Professor Chappell Lawson will provide commentary on the history of US interventions in Haiti and elsewhere in the Western Hemisphere, and Center for International Studies Associate Director and Political Science Professor Stephen Van Evera will chair the meeting.
