About the Speakers:
Trita Parsi is the founder and president of the National Iranian American Council and an expert on US-Iranian relations, Iranian foreign policy, and the geopolitics of the Middle East. He is the recipient of the Council on Foreign Relation's 2008 Arthur Ross Silver Medallion and the 2010 Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order.

Abbas Maleki served as Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister from 1988-1997. He is currently in residence at MIT as a Robert E. Wilhelm Fellow in the Center for International Studies. He is associate professor of political science at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran & director of the International Institute for Caspian Studies.

Stephen Kinzer is an award-winning foreign correspondent who has covered more than 50 countries on five continents. His articles and books have led the Washington Post to place him "among the best in popular foreign policy storytelling." Kinzer teaches International Relations at Boston University. His most recent book is Reset: Iran, Turkey, and America's Future.
