Ruofan Ma

Ruofan Ma is a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Center for International Studies. Starting in July 2027, he will join the Department of Political Science at MIT as an assistant professor. His research interests include labor rights, human rights, and international organizations. He received his PhD in government and AM degrees in statistics and East Asian studies from Harvard University, as well as a BA in political science from Peking University. Before joining MIT, he was a junior visiting fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, and a graduate associate at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University.
