Obumneme Onyeka Okwonna

Obumneme Onyeka Okwonna is an emerging educator with a strong interest in innovation, learning, and capacity building. As lecturer in the department of chemical engineering, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State-Nigeria, with over five years of experience, his research area is sustainable energy and environmental remediation. He has published in several international journals. He is interested advancing effective teaching and learning through evidence-based instructional practices, curriculum development, integration of technology, and to improve educational outcomes. Obumneme is focused on enhancing student engagement with practical skills and modern pedagogical approaches. Through the MIT-Empowering the Teachers Program, he seeks to strengthen his teaching skills, engage in collaborative knowledge exchange, and contribute to sustainable, high-impact educational practices within his community.
