Kathryn Dura

Kathryn Dura is a PhD student in the MIT Department of Political Science and affiliated with the Center’s Security Studies Program. She specializes in security studies and quantitative methods. Her research interests include emerging technology, game theory, and military strategy and tactics. She is the recipient of the Ida M. Green Fellowship at MIT. Kathryn holds a BA in International Relations and Modern Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated summa cum laude. Prior to joining MIT, she was a Joseph S. Nye Jr. Technology and National Security Research Intern at the Center for a New American Security and served as an intelligence analyst for the US Navy.
