Jared Kalow
PhD Student

Jared Kalow is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at MIT and affiliated with the Center’s Global Diversity Lab. He studies comparative politics and political methodology. His research interests include political behavior, public service provision, and ethnic politics, with a regional focus in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Jared is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Prior to joining MIT, he worked at Innovations for Poverty Action, Fraym, and the Center for Global Development. He graduated with a BA in Public Policy Analysis and Anthropology from Pomona College.
