Claire Philomena Smark
UK International Fellow, Center for Nuclear Security Policy
Claire Smark is a defense and international security professional in the UK government. She currently works as an analyst in the Cabinet Office, specializing in nuclear deterrence, proliferation and arms control issues. Prior to this, Claire led the UK Ministry of Defense’s nuclear disarmament and counter-proliferation policy team. Claire joined the UK Civil Service in 2017, and has a degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Oxford.
