Christine Liu

Christine Liu is a PhD student in the MIT Department of Political Science and affiliated with the Center’s Security Studies Program. She specializes in international relations and political economy. She is interested in developing a new framework for the security-economic nexus in US-China competition that encompasses firm and industry heterogeneity. Her other research interests include economic statecraft and US grand strategy in East Asia. Prior to MIT, Christine received a BA in Political Science and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
