MIT-Spain INDITEX Circularity Seed Fund

The MIT-Spain INDITEX Circularity Seed Fund supports collaborations between MIT and universities and research institutions across Spain.

Maximum award: $30,000

Priority will be given to projects in:

  • Sustainable fabrics and raw materials
  • Textile-to-textile recycling technologies
  • Sustainable logistics
  • Water or energy textile processes optimization
  • Improve textile maintenance
  • Optimize biodegradability
  • Traceability at yarn level

MIT-Spain Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Seed Fund

The MIT-Spain Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Seed Fund supports collaborations between MIT and its colleagues at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Priority will be given to projects in:

  • Are new or are entering a new phase

  • Involve students in a meaningful way

  • Have high potential for impact beyond the initial funding period, such as continued collaboration, joint proposals, or other opportunities

  • Include a balanced exchange and demonstrate complementarity between the two universities

Maximum award: $30,000

MIT-Spain UNED Seed Fund

The MIT-Spain UNED Seed Fund supports collaborations between MIT and its colleagues at UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia).

Priority will be given to projects in:

  • Are new or are entering a new phase

  • Involve students in a meaningful way

  • Have high potential for impact beyond the initial funding period, such as continued collaboration, joint proposals, or other opportunities

  • Include a balanced exchange and demonstrate complementarity between the two universities
