GSF Lithuania

The MIT-Lithuiana Seed Fund supports collaborations between MIT and universities and research institutions across Lithuiana.

Preference will be given to proposals that involve collaboration among multiple institutions in Lithuania. Applicants are encouraged to build partnerships across the Lithuanian Consortium whenever appropriate. If a proposal is developed without additional collaborators, applicants are invited to provide a brief explanation of why the proposed work is best carried out in this way.” 

Maximum award: $30,000

The goals of the MIT-Lithuiana Seed Fund are to:

• significantly increase collaboration opportunities between Lithuanian stakeholders and MIT partners in a measurable way
• increase the visibility of Lithuanian higher education and research among faculty, researchers, and students at MIT and vice versa
• build a strong community of scientific leaders at MIT and in Lithuania with mutual ties that will lead to long-term collaboration
