Zabrovski receives Infinite Mile Award

The Center would like to congratulate our colleague Ekaterina (Katya) Zabrovski for receiving an Infinite Mile Award from the MIT School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS). She was recognized for her outstanding work as the managing director of our MIT-Eurasia Program. One of her nominators highlighted how she demonstrates “deep cross-cultural awareness and political sensibility” in her leadership. Areg Danagoulian, faculty co-director of the MIT-Eurasia program, presented her with the award and described her impact on the program, calling her an “invaluable asset to MIT’s global mission.” Among her many accomplishments, she was instrumental most recently in securing a new funding agreement that greatly expands student and faculty opportunities in Lithuania. We are thrilled that she is being recognized along with other outstanding colleagues across SHASS.
