The Center was thrilled to host Robert Wilhelm '62 during his recent visit to MIT—his alma mater.
Through his generosity and global vision, the Center established the prestigious Robert E. Wilhelm fellowship. Since its inception in 2004, the fellowship program has brought to campus heads of international non-governmental organizations, national security advisors, U.S. military leaders, senior diplomats, and retired cabinet ministers—including one former prime minister.
Joining Mr. Wilhelm for dinner were our current Wilhelm fellow, John Githongo and his wife, S. Mshai Mwangola, along with Agustin Rayo, dean of MIT School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences; Richard Samuels, former director of CIS; and Evan Lieberman, current director of CIS.
