Kayode Olumurewa

Dr. Kayode O. Olumurewa is a materials physicist and faculty member in the Department of Physical Sciences at McPherson University, Nigeria. He earned his BSc in Physics, followed by an MSc and PhD in Materials Science from Obafemi Awolowo University. His research work centers on the synthesis, fabrication, and optimization of thin-film materials for applications in sensors, energy storage devices, and optoelectronics. A key focus of his work involves leveraging the unique properties of materials like graphene, transition-metal oxides and chalcogenides, and other functional materials to address critical societal issues related to energy and environmental sustainability.
